Digital Growth & Booking Systems for Namibian Hunting Farms

We build the websites, marketing and booking technology that turn international hunter interest into direct bookings for Namibian hunting farms — so your season depends less on overseas agents and more on demand you own.

Built by Morné van der Merwe, who runs the websites and booking systems for three successful Namibian hunting farms.

The actual problem

You didn’t get into hunting farms to become a digital operator

Nobody expects a farm owner to also be a web developer, a copywriter and a CRM administrator. But right now, that's what a full calendar of direct international bookings quietly requires.

You run a hunting farm, not a marketing department

Knowing your land, your species and your season is a full-time job on its own. A website that actually converts, search visibility, social content, and an enquiry process that doesn't leak hunters is a different skill set entirely — and most farm owners are expected to run both.

Enquiries arrive on your terms, not theirs

A hunter in Texas or Munich messages when it's convenient for him — evening, weekend, mid-season while you're in the field. If nobody gets back to him for three days, he has usually already booked somewhere that acknowledged him within minutes and replied when they said they would.

The tools were never built for this

Generic website builders, a personal WhatsApp number, a notebook of leads — none of it was designed for tracking an international hunter from first click through to deposit. Things fall through, and you find out only when the season's numbers come in short.

The system

The Hunter Journey Framework

Three parts. Each one closes a gap where Namibian farms routinely lose good hunters: being found, being answered, and being able to prove what worked.

01 / Direct Demand

Stop paying 15–20%+ to sit in someone else's brochure

Agents and conventions have their place, but they should not own your client list. We build the web, search and ad foundation that puts your farm in front of US and German hunters directly, so the deposit lands in your account with the commission still attached.

Typical agent commission: 15–20%+ per booking

02 / Instant Follow-up

From three days to three minutes

Every enquiry is acknowledged automatically on WhatsApp or email within minutes, with the details the hunter asked about. You then reply personally within a time your farm sets and publishes, with a structured follow-up running while you are out in the field. No enquiry sits in an inbox until the hunter has already paid a deposit elsewhere.

Automatic acknowledgement: 3+ days down to minutes

03 / Farm Economics

Measured in bookings, not likes

Every enquiry is tracked from first click to deposit, so you can see which channel actually fills your calendar. Vanity metrics do not feed anyone. We report on direct booking revenue and cost per confirmed hunter.

ROI tracked to deposit, not impressions

“Marketing must never outrun reality.”

Good hunting farms shouldn’t lose great hunters because their digital journey lets them down. We don’t sell posts; we build the system that turns digital attention into direct bookings.

Potential Case Study

A Mid-Size Kalahari Hunting Farm

The problem

The farm relied on an overseas booking agent for roughly 80% of its international clients, handing over a 20% commission on each. Its website hadn’t been updated since 2015, enquiries arrived through a shared family WhatsApp number, and response times often stretched past three days during peak season — long enough that several hunters booked elsewhere before hearing back.

What we’d implement

A rebuilt website targeting US and German hunters directly, search visibility work, an instant WhatsApp/email acknowledgment system, and a simple enquiry-to-deposit tracker so the farm could see exactly where interest turned into bookings.

The likely results

Faster response times shift enquiries into quotes before a hunter looks elsewhere, and a portion of bookings that would have gone through the agent move to direct, commission-free bookings instead.

Why we stay small

We deliberately limit this to 20 hunting farms

Not as a sales tactic — as a workload limit. Each farm gets ongoing, hands-on support from someone who actually knows the account, not a rotating queue in a large agency. Once we're at capacity, we stop taking new farms until a spot opens up.

Myth busting

Farm realities, not agency theory

The questions farm owners actually ask, answered from running the systems behind three working hunting farms.

No. From what I see across the farms I work with, the biggest drop-off is trust and response speed, not inches of horn. A hunter in Texas or Germany who is acknowledged within minutes, then gets a detailed, personal answer when the farm said he would, often books over a farm with better trophies that takes three days to email back. Your trophies get you considered; your follow-up gets you booked.

Not necessarily. Agents fill gaps and they earn their keep on certain clients. The problem is depending on them for every hunter, because then the relationship, the repeat booking and 15–20%+ of the price belong to someone else. Build your own direct demand alongside the agents, and you get to choose.

Conventions still work, but they are a handful of expensive weekends a year. A hunter who sees your farm in March and decides in August needs somewhere credible to land, and someone to answer him. Conventions start the conversation; the digital journey has to finish it.

We can, but on its own it would waste your money: leads that wait days for a reply go cold. So we don't launch ads until the follow-up system is ready behind them. An enquiry is the beginning, not the end.

The system does the first move — an automatic acknowledgement within minutes, with the details the hunter actually asked about, so he knows he has been heard. You handle the real conversation when you're back at the house, within the reply time you set and publish, with the full enquiry history in front of you instead of a scrambled inbox.

Website and content built for how international hunters evaluate a farm, search visibility for the species and dates they search on, targeted campaigns in the US and Germany, and a CRM with automated acknowledgment and follow-up. One system, not four separate suppliers blaming each other.

Either. If your current site's foundation is sound, we can restructure the content and fix what's actually costing you enquiries. If it's outdated at the platform level, a rebuild is faster than patching it. We tell you which one honestly after looking at what you have.

Yes. Most of what we build — the website, the follow-up system, the tracking — is exactly as useful for a farm getting its first international hunters as one already booked out. We'd just weight the early work toward visibility and trust-building rather than optimizing an existing pipeline.

Yes, that's the point. Enquiries from your website, WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook all land in one place, get an automatic acknowledgement within minutes, and move through the same pipeline through to deposit — instead of living across a personal phone, a spreadsheet and an inbox that don't talk to each other.

Anywhere in Namibia. The work is digital — website, marketing, follow-up systems — so your farm's location doesn't change how we deliver it. What matters is that you're an established operation with real seasons and capacity to fill.

Depends on the starting point, but a working website and follow-up system is typically live within a few weeks, not months. We'd give you a specific timeline for your farm on the Discovery Call once we know what exists already and what needs building.

The numbers are published: three packages, from N$12,950 + N$2,750 a month (Essentials) to N$32,500 + N$12,750 a month (Season Partner). Most farms choose Growth: N$17,950 + N$6,750 a month, billed once a year. Ad spend is separate. The free audit and Discovery Call confirm what fits your farm. See the full pricing.

Are you still relying purely on agent bookings and conventions, or building your own direct demand?

One conversation, straight numbers, no pitch deck. If your season is already full, I’ll tell you so and we can both get back to work.
